Who can take the Emergency First Aid CPR-A training course:
Our WSIB Approved Emergency First Aid CPR-A course is design for anyone who wants or needs to learn life saving CPR tools.
This course is a requirement for companies or employers who have 5 or less workers / employees per shift.
Therefore, if you do not have this training for your staff it may be time to book. Also, if you do not see a date for training that works for you please reach out to the office at 905-407-0672 or email admin@trainsmart.ca and we can try to accommodate your training needs.
Overview of the Emergency First Aid CPR-A training course:
This single day course will provided you with the essential skills to care for, protect and support the life of a suddenly ill/injured patient until emergency medical services arrive. This course is recommended for employees who spend most of their time in vehicles together and/or alone. Upon successful completion of the course you will receive your certification which is valid for 3 years.
*Blended option also available which is approximately 3-3.5 hours of self-paced on-line learning followed by approximately 3.5 hours on-site
Topics covered but not limited to:
- Introduction as well as terminology
- Adult & Child CPR
- A.E.D
- Severe Bleeding
- Burns
In conclusion, the education this training provides to workers and employers will provide them with a better understanding of life saving techniques. As a result, this knowledge will provide for a safer workplace.
